Sunday Service @ 10:30 am
Join us for service each Sunday morning. Children are welcome at the start of service. After the welcome and announcements, we share the Peace of the Lord with each other. Next, we have the children's message and then the children move to children's church in one of the classrooms. We hear the scripture readings and Rev. Vanderbilt's sermon. After the sermon, we share our gifts and offerings. Lastly, we close with the benediction. Several times during the service, the choir and congregration rejoice with music.
We believe the Communion Table is the Lord's Table. All who believe in Christ are welcome to celebrate with us. We typically receive the body and blood in the pews, but we do sometimes go forward for intinction.
We share Communion the first Sunday of each month and other special occasions such as Easter.
In addition to our traditional Sunday services, we have additional services during the week or special services on Sunday. These include the following:
- Palm Sunday
- Ash Wednesday
- Maundy Thursday
- Christmas Eve (early and late)
We have other occasional special services such as a Kirkin' o' the Tartan which always are popular.
We are truly blessed with a wonderful choir and accompanist. Though sometimes small in number, the choir is never short on talent, both vocal and instrumental. We celebrate with a mix of hymns from our new hymnal as well as our old hymnal as best fits that moment in the service.
